The idea was to offer a fresh management approach to the vast foster/adopt needs of America.  It turns out that is a very important issue to be aware of, and the need is bigger than first anticipated.  Some reports show 3 million children are either under investigation of abuse/neglect or in states of foster/adopt custody, and another 1.5 million children are living on the streets are homeless or runaways.

We began with one free program designed to operate in any community solely on the love of that community's Christians and other caring citizens.  Now we have 7 programs, and do a great deal of foster recruitment and information distribution.  J.C.'s Lighthouse has served for over 10 years helping provide a safe haven for homeless/runaway children of abuse/neglect backgrounds that often fall between the cracks of our state programs.
