The Light Card Project

We will gather our community's support for our own area children in need and the families willing to help them. The support gathered will be discounted goods and services.

Then we will ask that supporters identify themselves to the community with the provided poster sign so that licensed foster families can find them to use the goods and services and others will see the signs and consider fostering.

We will print and supply posters for this program. We will, as well, actively canvas the streets and use media resources for program support. We will take all incoming calls for support and organize a pamphlet/book to benefit the program, as well as, meet with our local foster parent groups offering support and hopefully handing off several copies of our booklet list of supporters and their offered items or information for existing and new foster families.

God willing, in a few short weeks we will educate an entire county of the need in the community and across the country. Some area businesses will see an increase in sales for their willingness to step up and help in a time of need, as well as, showing their commitment to community. People will see, consider, and discuss the posters and many loving families will receive a free pizza, discounted auto repair or maybe a round or two of putt putt golf (which can benefit a child who may be preoccupied with missing his or her family or be about to give up on life). The program designers have seen even putt putt work miracles, and sometimes that's enough. Ultimately, the local situations with lagging foster support will receive a shot in the arm it needs, and children will be helped. Gotta love it.

Nothing goes just as planned and we know this. So we ask you for your patients. Luckily for these children our drive is much bigger than these obstacles.
