Mission Opportunity #1
Who: Children as young as 5 and people with special needs
can help serve with this mission work.
Mission opportunity one is so simple to run and
yet shares immense blessings with your group and your community.
The goal is to increase the peace with information that helps
the community start talking freely about subjects usually avoided
while increasing the number of foster homes in your community.
Unfortunately, because of the time we live in, there are so many
children in the foster system needing good homes, that there are
never enough homes.
The mission project is call "Purple
Pages". The story of their origin is worth sharing,
so print it, share it, and then run it. The idea is that
we serve our local communities first, and the service be inexpensive
so that more groups will be able to serve, and teach to serve
locally. For some black ink in your printer or copier, a
few packs of royal purple paper and $5-$10 in gas money you can
teach young ones to serve their fellow children and make a difference.
The more you hand out the more you will change your
community for the better, however, please share with your group
that the seeds that you sow now will take a while to finally make
the desired change. Promise them the promise we received
from God. It will not go out to return void. There will
be a positive change as a result of this program. We have seen
it every time we run it.
You will find the five pages we always use (you
may choose from these) and the back side copy that we put on every
page with link to pages. You will find
the mission sign up sheet with this link to
sign
up. Please fill it out and send it to us upon completion
of your mini mission so we can keep track of our love gift as
it spreads across America. Areas that are really supportive
will be considered for their own J.C.'s Lighthouse office and group/foster
home. We are always ready with support and input. If you
need us, we are here for you.
Finally, we want you to share with your group
at least some of the blessings impacted here.
1. Non-foster children are blessed by having other loving people
to care for them in their time of need.
2. Fostered children are blessed by having other loving people
to care for them in their time of need.
3. Children of abuse/neglect are blessed when you raise the
consciousness/awareness of a community and open the lines of communication
that make it possible for discovery of those children's plight
for freedom of their abuse/neglect.
Thank you, J.C.'s Lighthouse.
